I've been a bit heavy handed with some of these but I wanted to get a rough idea of what my characters will look like done before lunch so I did them fairly quickly. I think the little girl and zoo keeper (the purple guy) and the fat guy are probably my favourite. I'm pretty sure that I hate the thin lady. I think I've gone too dark and fine with the line work on most of these too. The little girl embodies everything I want them to look like, even the eyes aren't black and that's what I should be looking at when designing these things.
