At the library...

I spent this morning hanging out at the library in town. It's a pretty unnerving feeling sitting in the kiddy section for too long, so I whizzed through as many picture books as I could as quickly as I could but I took some out too. I mainly took these not for content but for examples of style. There's a very VERY obvious theme going through every single book there - They all show realistic textures. Well, with the exception of moshi monsters, but those books are packed with lots and lots of monster pictures on every page so maybe that makes things like textured appearance less important. Based on my findings, I should definitely explore texture more. I'm sort of relieved because I've been struggling and this gives me a chance to keep moving forward before I stagnate. These are some of the books I've taken out.
