A few images...

This stuff is mainly to show at the crit but realistically the next step in my project is to finalise character design, do some environment concepts and thumbnail for final images. Also, I've been thinking about the location of my takers and I don't think I'm going to have them in the woods. The woods is something that has carried over from my original story which needed to be grounded in the real world. I think mountains might be good for my new story, or failing that, a swamp. Since the takers are sort of reptilian looking I think it could give a good opportunity to portray them climbing and looking slightly less human. I also think that woodland is an area that is soooo overdone in kids books now, which is fine, but even I've done it before so I may as well try something new this time.
